01Websites

A website that does a job, not just a job of looking nice.

Most small-business websites are a photo, a phone number and a PDF. The studio designs and builds websites around the thing you want visitors to do next, then makes them fast, clear and easy to update.

Who it is for
Independent businesses, practices and founders who need a site that people can find, understand and act on: book, order, enquire or call.

What a project can include

Realistic deliverables. Which of these apply is decided in the scope, not assumed.

  • Site structure and page copy shaped with you, in plain English
  • Design in the browser at desktop and phone sizes, reviewed before build
  • A fast, accessible build on modern foundations (Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS)
  • The journeys that matter to your business: booking, order-ahead, quotes, menus or enquiries
  • Search fundamentals: titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap and sensible performance
  • Hosting set-up on your own accounts, so you keep your domain, site and data

Where it makes sense

  • Content you can edit yourself, where the site needs it
  • Integrations such as booking tools, maps, forms or payment links
  • Ongoing improvements after launch, scoped separately

Examples

How scope is agreed

  1. 01It starts with a conversation about your business, your customers and what a good outcome looks like.
  2. 02You get a written scope: pages, journeys, integrations, what you provide and what the studio provides.
  3. 03Timings and commercials are agreed for the project before any build starts. There is no menu of fixed prices on this site because a booking journey for a clinic is not the same job as a landing page.

Common questions

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Where the site needs it, yes. Menus, prices, opening hours and similar content are built to be editable without a developer. That is agreed in the scope.

Do you guarantee search rankings?

No, and be wary of anyone who does. The studio builds the fundamentals well and can help with content, but rankings depend on many things outside a website.

Who owns the site?

You do. The site is set up on your own domain and hosting accounts, and you receive the source.

What happens after launch?

Maintenance and improvements are available as a separately scoped next step rather than an automatic ongoing commitment.

Start a website project?

Tell the studio what you are trying to do. You get a reply from Viveak by email to arrange a conversation, and a written scope before anything is built.
